About sirg	English (USA)
The Snow and Ice Research Group, New Zealand (SIRG-NZ), is an informal association of people interested in snow and ice research. See the SIRG website for more information. This email list facilitates communication within the group. Most messages are to do with the monthly video-conference and annual meeting, and other matters that come up from time to time. Anyone with an interest in snow and ice research in New Zealand, is free to join (although the membership is moderated to avoid spammers). To see the collection of prior postings to the list, visit the sirg Archives. (The current archive is only available to the list members.)
Using sirg
To post a message to all the list members, send email to sirg@lists.vuw.ac.nz. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to sirg
Subscribe to sirg by filling out the following form. This is a closed list, which means your subscription will be held for approval. You will be notified of the list moderator's decision by email. This is also a private list, which means that the list of members is not available to non-members. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription.
