The assessment of proposals uses a scale of 1-5, based on the following criteria defined in the program guidelines. Applications with an overall assessment of 4 or higher are strong applications.<br>

B: Approach = 3.20<br>
C: Value/Need for Project = 3.00<br>
D: Project Management and Budget = 3.60<br>
E: Capacity of the project team to deliver the proposed outcomes = 3.70<br>

The application builds on work by Hicks et al. on higher education teaching preparation programs. This proposal is backed by a very solid team with a good collaborative strategy. It is questionable whether the project is too elaborate given the time and funding available. The capacity for the team to deliver the proposed outcomes is strengthened by the use of networks like HERDSA and DVC/PVC (Academic). The proposal would be enhanced by inclusion of strategies for dealing with the potential difficulties and constraints which may arise from the complex project design. The approach is quite cleverly stratified and the evaluation approach is useful.</p>
