<p><i><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;color:black">‘I applied to the fund because I wanted to strengthen my international profile and contribute to ASIS&T’s global initiatives. I had already been working with the BEW team, who
supported me to successfully bid for and secure an international conference of 200–300 delegates in 2027. Their support typically includes assistance with budget preparation and funding to attend one conference to present the bid. The additional support from
the International Conference Leaders’ Fund means I can attend several ASIS&T events to build my networks and host a Board member of ASIS&T at the 2027 conference I’m hosting. If you’d like to chat to me about the fund, please reach out.’
