Dear Colleagues

We are organising a workshop for the upcoming Foundations Colloquium
around the theme of 'Values Underpinning our Higher Education Learning
and Teaching Programs'. It would be useful to collect and collate in
advance as many perspectives of these values as possible. This would
allow a more informed design of the workshop.

To this end, we ask you to complete the following statement. (Please
remove program(s) that do not correspond to the value that you
inserted.)

'I think a fundamental value that underpins Orientation
programs/Foundation programs/Grad Cert in Higher Ed/Masters in Higher Ed
at my university is
'

You may choose to identify additional fundamental values.

Please send your responses to john.willison at adelaide.edu.au, not to the
discussion list, to encourage a diversity of perspectives. We
particularly encourage people who will not be attending this year's
colloquium to contribute, so that we can include your voices.

One objective of the workshop will be to identify in-common values (if
any) across many Australasian universities. Such values may provide a
platform for other discussions.

We look forward to seeing you in Brisbane, if you can make it.

Regards

Coralie McCormack (University of Canberra
John Willison (University of Adelaide)
