[Foundations] Query

Dear Colleagues,

 

I am hoping that you might assist me with a  query about processes for
managing minor and major changes to programme/ courses/units etc. At UNE we
submit a minor amendment (this could be a simple alteration such as change
of assessment type etc.) or a major amendment (change of unit name, new
assessment, new outcomes etc.) to various committees. My main query is about
timelines for achieving changes. For example for the change to be approved
at UNE it has to be sent to various committees by the end of March 2007 for
a 2008 implementation. 

 

I am wondering whether you would be interested in sharing your timelines?
What is the practice in your institution? I am happy to collate this and
send it back around if others are interested.
