[Foundations] training for staff

Howdy Alison,


We have it as a requirement in probation that all new appointments should do
the GCHE or Teaching Flexibly (for those already have a GCHE). This must be
completed within two years and is at no cost to the staff member. It is
funded centrally as a Commonwealth Supported Place.

Not many profs do it though!

Hope that helps. And yes, would love an update on this.

Hello all
Does anyone have to hand a recent list of how many universities require
their ongoing  and contracted ( i.e. not casual) staff to do 
*	a full grad cert
*	the equivalent of one unit of a grad cert and 
*	less than this
*	no required training?
I would appreciate any feedback on this. I know we have been collecting
this data over the years, but wondered where I might find an up-to-date
list ( anything from  the Foundations project perhaps?)
