[Foundations] Sessional Staff Question - Access to facilities and resources

Dear colleagues

We're looking at implementing a business rule whereby sessional staff get longer-term access to the University network (email, intranet), Library and online resources than just their 13 week employment contract.  This is in response to feedback from sessionals about the perils of vanishing from the system as soon as semester finishes.

I'd be very thankful to hear from colleagues elsewhere who have addressed or grappled with this issue. Will post a summary of responses in return.
