This email is a gentle reminder for the 2010 Foundations Colloquium. Registrations to the colloquium is open and closes on the 1st Oct 2010.

Please register your interest with Siva Krishnan by email Siva.Krishnan at newcastle.edu.au if you wish chair one or more of the following parallel discussion sessions. 

1. What should institutions be trying to achieve through Foundations Programs?
     - In teaching practice and
     - For student learning

2. How should institutions measure the impact of Foundations Programs
    - What evidence should institutions look for? and
    - How should institutions measure it?

3.  How can we provide follow-up support to the participants of our Foundation Programs?

4.  What are the optimal strategies for articulating compulsory Foundations Programs?

There is also an opportunity to present research or practice in Foundations Programs at the colloquium. Expressions of interest (EOI) of approximately 1000 words are invited for peer-review process. If you intend to avail this opportunity please email your EOI to Siva Krishnan by email Siva.Krishnan at newcastle.edu.au . Following the peer-review process, four EOIs will be chosen for presentation on DAY 2 of the colloquium between 2.00 pm and 3.00 pm.
