Dear All,
UoN has a change of policy as at July 1st, 2011. We have a new "Teaching Toolkit" that will be mandatory for all new academics with teaching responsibilities and that must be completed before they begin teaching. This will be part of each academics employment requirements. The policy will include academics of all levels.
This is now independent of our GCPTT program and gives no credit towards the GCPTT.
Hope this is what you are after,
Susan

Subject: [Foundations] Question re: policy and procedures for folks doing Foundations
Hi folks,
Quick query: La Trobe's planning to renew some of its policies and procedures re: its Foundations Program. Can I get a quick feel for the following? Do any of your universities:
- document the compulsory aspect of completing Foundations in academic policy (ie, other than a letter of offer)?
- do those policies relate to existing staff and/or just new appointments
- do those programs have an expiry period? For eg, folks do it again after a set number of years.
Feel free to email off line t.peseta at latrobe.edu.au<mailto:t.peseta at latrobe.edu.au>. Appreciate your time.
Cheers, Tai
