[Sam-lecturing] FW: Academic integrity assessment reminder

Kia ora koutou,

As we move into a busy assessment period, a quick reminder to make academic integrity expectations as clear as possible for students. Even if these have been discussed earlier in the trimester, repeating them now can reduce uncertainty and help students make informed decisions about their work.

Please make it clear what kinds of assistance are allowed, restricted, or not permitted for each assessment. This includes generative AI, translation software, grammar and writing tools such as Grammarly, and other technologies students may use. If something is restricted, it is helpful to explain why and how this relates to the intended learning outcomes.

Please also remind students about examination expectations, and where they can find academic, wellbeing, and learning support.
