[Foundations] what do we do to assess participants?

Hi all
One of the concurrent breakout sessions on the Wednesday morning of the
upcoming Foundations Colloquium is on our assessment practices in
foundations courses and graduate certificates in higher education.
To make this session as practical as possible, it would be useful to
have in advance summaries of assessments used by different universities.
I have attached a document that I filled in with our University of
Adelaide examples from our foundations course and grad certificate, that
addresses the fields:
Assessment Task name
What do participants do and when it is done
Are there Marking Guidelines?
Why do you set this assessment at this time?
If you were to complete this document, you may get some useful feedback
during the session, as well as informing other participants. If you are
interested, please replace the UoA details with your own, and send to me
by Monday 8 October. Feel free to do this even if you are not attending
the colloquium.
