[Foundations] Plenary Speakers

Dear Foundations Colleagues

Thank you to those of you who have responded so far with feedback and suggestions for our 2008 Colloquium. If you have not yet responded please do so as we are keen to ensure that the program reflects what you as participants would like to see.

We are currently exploring possible plenary speakers for the Colloquium. You may be aware that the Carrick Institute has conference funding available to allow teaching award winners and program award winners to present at conferences to disseminate their work. We thought that this might be a good way to involve some exciting plenary speakers in the Colloquium. 

Allan Goody and I have been liaising on this issue and Allan has suggested that I put out a request to the membership to see if any of you have Carrick teaching award or program award winners who might be interested in presenting. Ideally we would like the presenter to address how their participation in Foundations or Graduate Certificate programs has assisted in their development.
